Ocean Point Morning

"Ocean Point Morning" is plein air painting created on an incredibly beautiful July day near Boothbay Harbor, Maine.  I was attracted to the quaint blue-grey house that had a colorful flower garden in front, and the blue ocean channel into Boothbay Harbor behind. While I was painting, several large ships passed by, on their way into the harbor.  The owner of the house came out and chatted with me, telling me stories of her family history with the house.  When her grandmother would visit for the summer, she would bring their cow, by ferry!
